monitamoneth asked: HI im Moneth, from the Philippines. I have my dad's old Yashica Electro GSN 35, I REALLY DONT KNOW HOW TO USE IT. I mean i use it like as if its apoint and shot camera. and i use it without the battery. could you help me? can you give me any tips?? please, thanks and how do you do a redscalling using a ISO 100 film? how do I do red sclae with that?

hello Moneth. i’m so sorry it took me a while to answer this. you can actually get the yashica manual here. i think you’re going to need the battery though because it will indicate either your shot is too high or too low on lighting or overexposed etc. it’s hard to get the battery because from what i read they’re not selling the battery anymore since it’s bad for environment or something. but you can google on alternative ways to change the battery. when i bought mine, the guy who sold it to me was kind enough to give me the battery as well but i think later on i will have to opt on having it alternatively since the battery is no longer available.and as for the red scalling, i use a red scale film. i bought it from the lomography shop. i’m sorry to reply to you  this late but i hope this helps. :) have a nice day!
